VISITS TO ARABIC HOMESOn 2 de diciembre Ida Uhse escribe en su diario de viaje: “En la mañana fuimos a la iglesia copta y estuvimos allí tan temprano como las 8 de la mañana para poder presenciar todo el servicio. Nos dieron pan para comer y la condesa la guardó como recuerdo. Después del desayuno vimos dos casas árabes. También nos dieron la oportunidad de visitar los harems en antiguos palacios donde los techos eran altos y dorados y pintados.
