Marguerite-Josephine Weimer (llamado Mademoiselle George), actriz francesa, nació en Bayeaux en 1787. Su primera aparición fue en Amiens a los doce años. Mientras admiraba por su belleza en su debut de París en 1802, Weimer no podía competir con Mademoiselle Duchenois, su rival bien establecido, y por lo tanto ella realizó en el extranjero de 1808-1813. Es mejor recordada como la musa dramática de los románticos, especialmente Hugo y Dumas père. Murió en Passy en 1867.
