En un marco dorado reciente. La cantante Lucrezia Agujari (Ferrara 1747 - Parma 1783), cuyas habilidades contralto fueron apreciadas por el propio Mozart, se casó con el Maestro Parmesano Giuseppe Colla, director de la Orquesta Ducal. En su muerte tuvo un funeral público y fue enterrada en la iglesia de Carmine. La tradicional atribución a Jean-Marc Nattier (1685-1766), carente de pruebas documentales, debe ser excluida porque ha sido pintor desde 1762, antes de que el joven Agujiari fuera presentado al público y cruzado las fronteras italianas. Recientemente, Giuseppe Cirillo sugirió reconocer en la mujer la cantante Caterina Gabrielli, conocida como
