Se trata de un arco de té sobre el que las plantas de otoño se dibujan densamente usando colores vivos como rojo, amarillo y azul sobre toda la superficie —tanto dentro como fuera— del contenedor, al que se ha aplicado un esmalte amarillo pálido. La pintura de oro se utiliza en varios lugares, haciendo el arco de té aún más brillante. Desde la época de Nobuchika, la primera generación de la familia Nagahara, la familia fue designada por Matsudaira Fumai, el séptimo señor feudal del Dominio Matsue, para producir cerámica comisionada.
