Un acuarela que muestra a la Reina presentando la Medalla de Crimea al Mayor y Brevet-Lt-Col. Sir Thomas Trowbridge de los 7th Royal Fusilers el 18 de mayo de 1855. El príncipe Alberto está detrás de la reina, y junto a ella el príncipe de Gales, en Highland Dress. La Medalla de Crimea fue otorgada a todos los del Ejército Británico, la Marina Real y los Marines Reales que habían servido en la Crimea. La reina Victoria deseaba presentar la medalla a algunos de los hombres. El 18 de mayo de 1855 distribuyó 768 medallas, y se puede ver aquí presentando una a Major y Brevet-Lt-Col. Sir Thomas Trowbridge de los 7th Royal Fusiliers, quien con sus extremidades destrozadas fue dibujado en una silla de baño por un soldado de su Regt. ’
