La endeudamiento de Kiitsu a los maestros Rinpa anteriores es evidente fácilmente en estas pequeñas puertas correderas (kobusuma), que recuerdan versiones de Olas en las pantallas de Matsushima de Tawaraya Sōtatsu y Ogata Kōrin de los siglos XVII y XVIII respectivamente. Las rocas se hacen en las líneas amplia y moduladas características del estilo Rinpa. Las líneas de oro en las olas aumentan la calidad decorativa de la coloración azul, verde y blanco.
