A unos 4,3 km. de Okitsu, la estación de Ejii fue creada en bancos de arena formados por el río Tomoe, que abarca el puerto natural de Shimizu al sur. Situado en el punto medio entre Edo y Osaka, prosperó como un puerto de llamada para pequeños buques de carga de todo el país. Depicted in the foreground are the fishingvillage and vessels fonded at Shimizu Harbor, in the middle is the Miho Pine Grove made known in the legend of Hagoromo (“The Feathered Robe”).
