Pintura que representa el ataque de un escuadrón holandés a la flota inglesa en el ancla del río Medway. La redada de Chatham fue el episodio concluyente en la Segunda Guerra Anglo-Dutch (1665-67).En 1858, Obreen atribuyó esta pintura a Willem van de Velde.2 Willem Schellinks (1627?-1678) hizo una serie de pinturas que representaban la redada.
