Una figura solitaria con un personal caminando se encuentra sobre un acantilado bajo contemplando una vista de montaña. Esta escena del encuentro humano con la naturaleza se acompaña de un verso del célebre poeta Tang-dynasty Du Fu (712-770), inscrito por el pintor: El acantilado azul atrapa la brisa, una nube solitaria delgada, los arces rojos, sus espaldas al sol, diez mil árboles densos.
