Zahariy Zograph (1810-1853). Fue uno de los artistas más destacados del período de Renacimiento Nacional y el primer representante típico del arte secular en el siglo XIX. Fue hijo del pintor Hristo Dimitrov, aunque estudió pintura con su hermano Dimitar Zograph. Sus iconos y frescos se encuentran en las iglesias de Plovdiv (1834–40), Zlatograd (1834), Asenovgrad (1838–41), Koprivshtitsa (1838), Zlatograd (1834), y en el Monasterio de Bachkovo (1840), el Monasterio de la Transfiguración de Dios (1849, 1851), Monasterio de Rila (1844–45), Monasterio de Troyano (1847 inv.
