Krishna, el miserable Cowherd Divino, ha robado la ropa de los gopis bañadores, que brillan con frío pero también con deleite en su devoción a su señor. Esta espléndida alegoría del amor espiritual se atribuye a un estimado artista desconocido llamado el Maestro Primero de la Corte de Mandi. Su mano es reconocible en el fondo verde verdiente con una línea de horizonte alto poblada con figuras pequeñas, los árboles con troncos y ramas expuestos, y las figuras femeninas con características faciales refinadas.
