Cette pièce faisait partie d'un programme décoratif, avec trois autres tondi avec des vertus. Deux (Tempérance et Justice) se trouvent au Musée de Cluny, à Paris, et une (Foi) se trouve au Museu Calouste Gulbenkian, à Lisbonne. Ils sont liés au cardinal Virtues de Luca della Robbia sur le plafond de la chapelle du cardinal du Portugal à San Miniato, Florence, mais ils montrent le style du neveu de Luca, Andrea, qui était la force dominante dans l'entreprise familiale après vers 1470.
