Piano apporté au Portugal par le compositeur et pianiste Franz Liszt (1811-1886), lors de son passage à Lisbonne en 1845. Elle fut offerte à la reine D. Maria II (1819-1853), qui la donna à Manuel Inocêncio dos Santos (1802-1887), professeur de musique des Infantes. C'était l'un des premiers pianos modernes à être vu au Portugal.
