Mur du Nord, détails. La Salle des amours de Jupiter, dont le nom identifie le sujet représenté dans les scènes peintes varois, l'amour présenté dans différents types (OMNIA VINCET AMOR-LOVE CONQUERS EVERYTHING), a été peint et peint en stucs, respectivement, par Agostino Carracci (Bolonia 1557-Parma 1602) et Giovanni Bosco. En parlant de cette dernière personne, Giovanni, il y a quelques circonstances qui ne sont pas claires: a souvent été substitué par Luca Rieti, artiste de stucs qui a réalisé à Parme quelques statues pour le Teatro Farnese.
