Signé et daté David klöker fecit 1651. Dans la position centrale de la composition se trouve probablement la fille de Carl Gustaf Wrangel Eleonora Sophia à cheval, tandis que son frère Carl Philip Wrangel regarde jouer du tambour. Cette peinture est l'une des premières œuvres d'Ehrenstrahls et a été peint en 1651 pendant son séjour à la résidence Wrangels à Wolgast. Cette peinture est souvent considérée comme une allégorie de la vie d'Eleonora Sophia Wrangel, entourée par sa vie, ainsi que des frères et sœurs non vivants.
