Ce tableau représente sept figures en costume arabe autour de deux chameaux. Waller est un Américain qui a passé la majeure partie de sa carrière d'architecte, se tournant exclusivement vers la peinture seulement en 1903. Il a participé à des programmes de formation artistique à New York et à des expéditions archéologiques au Proche-Orient.
