1891 héritier Klimts Bruder Ernst Helene Flöge. Dadurch wird Gustav mit deren Schwester Emilie (1874-1952) bekannt. Mit ihr verbiindet ihn eine lebenslange Freundschaft. Ab 1898 verbrant Klimt jeden Sommer mit der Familie Flöge im Salzkammergut. Das Kleid, das Emilie auf dem Foto trägt, ist ein sogenanntes Reformkleid, das Koloman Moser entworfen chapeau.
