Le charlatan. Sur une place du village, un charlatan se dresse sur une élévation sous un grand arbre, montrant aux villageois la dent (ou la pierre) qu'il tirait avec un homme attaché à une chaise. Aux pieds de l'homme est un panier d'oeufs. Sur la table sont toutes sortes de bouteilles et de pots et un document avec un sceau. Au premier plan, une femme pousse son mari ivre dans une brouette. Très à droite est un violon sur un poteau avec un singe avec une pipe.
