En 1772, Élisabeth-Suzanne de Jaucourt (1755–1816) épousa son cousin François-Hercule-Philippe-Étienne de Baschi, comte du Cayla. Cinq ans plus tard, Houdon la dépeint comme une nymphe insouciante aux feuilles de raisin qui tournaient autour de sa poitrine et des cheveux balayés par le vent. L'apparence d'un bacchant peut faire une référence ludique à son mari.
