Portrait de Gerrit van der Pot (1732-1807), M. van Groeneveld, collectionneur d'art à Rotterdam. A mi-chemin, assis à une table tenant le journal dans lequel il a enregistré ses acquisitions. Sur la table est un portrait miniature posthuum (1800) de sa troisième épouse Maria Catharina Pelerin (geste 1799) de Gijsbertus Johannes van den Berg. Sur la droite en arrière plan la peinture De Avondschool de Gerrit Dou (SK-A-87).
