Miranda et la tempête (1912) est une peinture à l'huile du peintre anglais John William Waterhouse. De 1908-1914, il peint une série de peintures basées sur la légende du Perséphone. Ils furent suivis par des images basées sur la littérature et la mythologie en 1916 (Miranda, Tristram et Isolde). Miranda est un personnage de la pièce The Tempest de William Shakespeare. La pièce a été jouée pour la première fois vers 1611. Waterhouse peint des versions de Miranda au début et à la fin de sa carrière. La peinture est maintenant dans la collection privée.
