En 1610, TOKUGAWA Ieyasu a appelé à la construction d'un château à Nagoya, que cette peinture représente tel qu'il se trouvait en 1933. Cette représentation est particulièrement importante parce qu'elle confirme comment le château est apparu avant qu'il ne brûle lors d'un raid aérien de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. À l'époque, les douves du château, qui est maintenant une place, étaient entourées de cerisiers. Dans ce tableau, Hida transmet la magnifique grandeur du château à la hauteur du printemps.
