Ici, les Oranges et les membres de leur famille sont représentés à La Haye. La peinture a probablement été réalisée par Van Hillegaert, un peintre d'Amsterdam de batailles et de portraits de cavaliers. De l'ouest, nous regardons en face du lac Hofvijver avec le Lange Vijverberg bordé d'arbres à gauche et les bâtiments Binnenhof à droite. Le Mauritshuis n'est pas encore dans l'image, car il a été construit un peu plus tard.
