Helen Gwynne-Vaughan (née Fraser, 1879-1967) est une botaniste britannique éminente qui a également une carrière militaire distinguée. En 1909, elle succède à son mari, David Thomas Gwynne-Vaughan, comme chef de département de botanique au Birkbeck College. En 1921, elle devient la première professeure du collège. Elle prend sa retraite comme professeur émérite en 1944. Pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, Gwynne-Vaughan a été nommé contrôleur des femmes.
