Cet avis publié dans le journal The Liberator annonçait la commémoration prochaine du massacre de Boston et plus particulièrement le martyre de la première victime à tomber, Crispus Attucks. Cet événement, tenu au printemps de 1858, a également profité de la commémoration pour contester la Cour suprême.
