Aechun, Shin Myeongyeon (1808-1886) è stato pittore literati della dinastia Joseon. Era figlio di Shin Wi, pittore e poeta di questi tempi, e rimase in servizio governativo per tutta la vita dopo aver superato l'esame di servizio. Ha creato un sacco di dipinti di tali argomenti come fiori e uccelli(花畵), paesaggio(山水畵), i Quattro Signori (子子) e figure umane (三人), che arricchiscono i cerchi d'arte della successiva dinastia Joseon includendo nuovi stili di pittura attivamente.
