La tavoletta raffigurante San Sigismondo che si reca ad Agauno, capolavoro di Agostino di Duccio dalla Toscana, è completamente estranea al contestoLombard. Originariamente si trovava sull'altare della cappella dedicata a San Sigismondo nel Tempio di Malatesta a Rimini, ma fu poi spostata in varie località fino a quando fu acquisita dall'Accademia di Brera nel 1812, e infine depositata pressoCastello Sforzesco. La scena raffigurata narra il Santo
