Questo beaker, dipinto nel laboratorio di Anton Kothgasser, è un bicchiere tipico per Biedermeier a Vienna. Beaker a parete sottile con pittura a smalto divennero popolari regali e souvenir del tempo del Congresso di Vienna. Dal 1811 in poi, Gottlob Mohn raffinato smalto dipinto, praticato da suo padre Samuel a Dresda, a Vienna. Anton Kothgasser, pittore di porcellana alla Manufactory Vienna, ha gareggiato con lui catturando motivi dalla pittura di porcellana su vetro: Vedutas, fiori, animali, emblemi, ritratti — anche di principi e generali — dal 1812 su apparso su occhiali e tazze di porcellana che sono stati venduti come souvenir.
