Lo studio del pittore Haarlem Pieter Frederik van Os, l'insegnante di Mauve. La stanza divenne poi la Sala Vecchia al Municipio di Haarlem. Per un camino una figura in ginocchio guarda un passepartout con disegni. Sul lato sinistro della parete sono diversi disegni con studi nudi e un dipinto di un paesaggio. Sopra il camino un formicaio.
