Natività , noto anche come la notte santa o l'adorazione dei pastori , fu commissionato da alberto pratoneri per la cappella di famiglia nella chiesa di san . prosper di reggio emilia , in 1522 . Correggio non terminò il lavoro fino alla fine del decennio , ed è stato collocato nella chiesa in 1530 . Il dipinto ruota attorno al bambino , cullato dentro Mary’s braccia , chi emette un lieve bagliore giallo , illuminando la notte oscura . Un gruppo di diversi angeli si nasconde tra le nuvole sopra , assistere alla scena . il dipinto fu trasferito a modena , Italia dentro 1640 , ed è ora ospitato nel vecchio Master’s galleria di foto a dresda , Germania .
