Il titolo di questo dipinto si riferisce ad una strada a Centerport, Long Island, dove Dove ha vissuto i suoi ultimi anni (1938–46). Anche se non immediatamente identificabile come un paesaggio, il soggetto è suggerito dai toni verdant e terreni. Lo sfondo verde chiaro ricorda anche l'acqua del vicino porto di Huntington. Basato su un piccolo studio sull'acquerello, così come molti dipinti di Dove, questa composizione è stata ampliata e adattata alla sua configurazione finale con l'aiuto di un pantografo.
