La parabola del fariseo e il collezionista di pedaggio, presentata in tre scene. Al centro il fariseo si inginocchia davanti all'altare, a sinistra l'arrogante fariseo lascia il tempio con un diavolo, a destra i pubblici lasciano il tempio con un angelo. La tela fa parte di una serie di parabole dipinte per la chiesa luterana di Leiden (vedi anche Nos SK-A-2958 e SK-A-2960).
