Caroline Maria Applebee (C. 1787-1854) è stato uno dei numerosi pittori di fiori dilettanti di talento e dedicati che fiorì nella prima metà del XIX secolo. Come artista è in gran parte sconosciuta, ma le sue opere documentano molte delle piante più alla moda del periodo, rivelando un forte interesse orticolo e creando un record unico e importante. L'unica collezione conosciuta dei suoi dipinti si tiene presso la RHS Lindley Library.
