Charles Filiger dipinse questo paesaggio ispirato alla teoria di Cloisonnist e Synthetist soggiornando nella locanda di Marie Henry a Le Pouldu. Questo dipinto gouache è rappresentante di questo nuovo stile. Utilizzando i contorni per dividere le aree piane di singolo colore disposti in strati interbloccanti, Filiger traduce la campagna di Breton in una composizione altamente semplificata. Questo lavoro ha ispirato la creazione del giardino Charles Filiger, che è stato aperto il 26 marzo 2016 nel cuore del nuovo Musee de Pont-Aven.
