A metà del Seicento, gli smaltatori producevano sempre più oggetti tridimensionali decorati con scene secolari. Questa piccola bara è composta da tredici placche che raffigurano nudi putti che suonano strumenti musicali, impegnandosi in battaglie mock, e corteggiando ragazze. Ogni scena è accompagnata da frasi in francese antico sulle gioie e le crudeltà dell'amore, per esempio, AMOVR.DONE. IOYE (L'amore dà gioia) e PAR AMOR VAINCV (defetato dall'amore). Tali messaggi sono stati spesso inscritti su gettoni d'amore e regali nuziali, e questa bara può aver servito uno scopo simile. La placca anteriore a sinistra inferiore raffigura anche un putto che presenta la sua amata con una bara, insieme alle parole LE PRINS DE BONE FOY (Prendetela in buona fede).
