Huntington era il ritrattista preferito della società rispettabile di New York durante il 1860. Qui la signora Joseph L. (Anna Watson) Stuart (1817-1881), moglie di un commerciante di merci secche di origine irlandese trasformato banchiere, è seduto in un paesaggio rigoglioso. Lei è vestita di ermine e lacci alla moda, e sul polso destro indossa un braccialetto di cammeo, creato da Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Questo cimelio di famiglia, ora in una collezione privata, è il più ambizioso progetto di cammeo esistente di Saint-Gaudens, con sei ritratti — il signor (1803-1874) e la signora Stuart e i loro quattro figli Anna (1840-1902), Joseph Jr. (1843-1890), Margaret (1845-1932), e Robert Watson (1847-1920). Ogni cammeo è fissato in un monte d'oro con un bordo di perle shell.
