Questa calligrafia è stata scritta da Imam Verdi nel 1854 AC nella sceneggiatura di Nastaliq e in lingua persiana. Imam Verdi fu il fondatore della Scuola Lahore di Calligrafia. Migrava da Kabul a Lahore. Egli guida il rinascimento dello script nasta’liq. Lo script Nastaliq è una combinazione di script Naskh e Taliq ed è stato prrodotto da Mir Ali Tabrezi. È completamente arricciante e molto elegante. Questo script divenne rapidamente molto popolare in Iran, Turchia, Asia centrale, Afghanistan e il subcontinente indiano.
