Questo dipinto, in cui un paio del Palazzo sono stati raffigurati in una stanza in stile turco, è una Turquerie di Jeaurat, uno dei pittori definiti da Boppe come “pittori turchi”. Questi pittori che non erano mai stati all'Impero ottomano hanno prodotto immagini orientaliste, con figure in costumi turchi che sono stati correttamente resi. Hanno anche incluso accessori come lo sgabello in velluto in stile rococò tipico della decorazione d'interni europea. Un altro dipinto con una composizione simile, dello stesso artista, si trova al Musée Groesbeeck de Croix a Namur.
