Per intercessione di Venere, Aeneas riceve una nuova armatura nella forgia di Vulcano. Nel mezzo, l'eroe si inginocchia davanti alla dea. Un Cupido raggiunge il casco, le altre parti dell'armatura sono davanti. Attraverso l'aria, putti, uno con una corona di alloro. A sinistra, quattro forgi lavorano sopra un fuoco. Parte di un gruppo di cinque opere realizzate per la casa a Nieuwegracht 6 a Utrecht.
