Dragoons 1850 mostra le truppe degli Stati Uniti pre-cavalry in Occidente combattendo con il nemico del giorno: gli abitanti nativi americani dei Territori occidentali. Il cavallo in testa sembra essere un cavallo militare (nota le staffe) acquisito dai nativi americani come indicato dalla pelle di bufalo sul retro del cavallo senza cavaliere.
