Polo è raro tra le sculture di Remington per molti motivi. Il nostro cast è uno dei soli due cast realizzati. La sua figurazione conica non ha davanti. Remington si è preso grande cura di mostrare le raffinatezze più piccole in questi uomini ben tenuti e i loro pony, fino a camicie ben abbottonate e vasi sanguigni visibili sotto la pelle dei cavalli. A prima vista, Polo appare elegante e raffinata, ma quando si vede dove l'azione è leader, la materia tematica può portare spettatori in una comprensione diversa dal loro parere originale. Remington creò 22 soggetti diversi in bronzo. Polo era la decima scultura.
