Pannello preparato nel 1884 in cui Gaetano Chierici rappresentava una sorta di stratigrafia dei principali siti archeologici esplorati fino ad allora in provincia di Reggio Emilia. Gli scavi più antichi sono stati raffigurati sui livelli inferiori, i più recenti sui livelli superiori; il pannello è stato accompagnato da un gabinetto in cui i reperti degli scavi raffigurati sono stati disposti allo stesso modo.
