Serie Leeuwarden: Membri della Casa di NassauPer la biografia di Frederik Hendrik vedere l'ingresso sul suo ritratto del laboratorio di Van Mierevelt (SK-A-254). Questa è una copia dell’immagine del pugnale nel ritratto di Honthorst di lui e della sua famiglia da circa 1647 (SK-A-874). Assumendo i tre ritratti della serie Leeuwarden dopo che i prototipi di Honthorst furono eseguiti allo stesso tempo, il ritratto attuale probabilmente risale a circa il 1653, la probabile data del ritratto di Willem III (SK-A-521). L'altro dipinto dopo un prototipo Honthorst della serie è quello di Willem II (SK-A-520).
