Questa immagine da una prospettiva estremamente bassa è quasi certamente uno studio per una pittura a soffitto. Tuttavia, non è ancora stato collegato ad un lavoro specifico. Il disegno è particolarmente elegante e arioso. Realizza un effetto estremamente pittorico attraverso l'uso della carta blu (carta azzurra) e i passaggi di inchiostro lava e luci bianche, che sono stati eseguiti con il pennello. L'artista ha raggiunto l'intensità dell'espressione e la tensione carica tra le figure riducendo il suo materiale ai suoi elementi essenziali. Elementi architettonici, come il soffitto a cassettoni, il portale sullo sfondo, e la baldacchino a forma di tenda rafforzano e sottolineano la chiarezza della composizione.
