Le braccia sono quelle di Gianfigliazzi (un leone blu su una terra d'oro) che impala Adimari (oro su blu in parti uguali), per Borgianni di Gherardo Gianfigliazzi e Caterina di Piero Adimari, che si sposarono a Firenze nel 1509. Grande, colorato, resistente alle intemperie composizioni corazze scultoree come questo sono stati fissati sulla parete esterna o cortile della casa del proprietario.
