Questa scultura in terracotta, già nella collezione Sgarbi, è stata pubblicata prima nel 2012 come attribuita ad Andrea Ferreri (Milano, 1673 - Ferrara, 1744) secondo il confronto con la scultura di Anteros custodita nelle Collezioni Civiche d’Arte di Bologna, che è scritta “A F F F” e datata 1740.Stefano Tumidei, quando descrisse gli Anteros nel 1991 (parte di una collezione privata in quel tempo) Ferreline
