Lo scultore e medagliere tedesco Gottlieb Elster disegnò questo vaso nel 1899 per KPM - Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin. Dal suo corpo conico crescono le iris fiorite e due teste femminili. Il motivo di base corrisponde alla metamorfosi dell'uomo e della natura, che è stato applicato come ideale estetico, a causa delle linee organiche, commoventi, soprattutto alla fine del XIX secolo.
