Questo cofano di paglia nero finemente tessuto presenta un alto, corona a forma di uovo e brim cablato. Impreziosito da due piume di struzzo colorate un rosa ricco. Il grande magazzino Henri Bendel, dove questo cappello è stato acquistato, è stato fondato dal suo omonimo, un mulino originario della Louisiana che si è trasferito a New York City nel 1895. Con l'avanzata del XX secolo, il grande magazzino è stato uno dei primi negli Stati Uniti a portare designer ormai famosi, tra cui Coco Chanel e Ralph Lauren. Negli anni '60, Andy Warhol è stato un illustratore interno per il grande magazzino.
