La pittura di Sebron fu il modello per il grande acquario inciso da Friedrich Salathé per Goupil & Company, Parigi e New York, nel 1852. Sebron ha ricevuto la commissione per il dipinto di William Schaus, agente di New York di Goupil. Si ritiene che Sebron viaggiasse negli Stati Uniti all'epoca.
