Il sultano è visto sul trono arife, con i suoi sottili pilastri sui suoi quattro angoli, indossando il suo tradizionale kaftan e turbante con una lunga navata. Il pilastro e la fitta tenda sul retro ci dicono che il sultano è all'interno del palazzo. Ci sono litografie del sultano Selim III nella stessa composizione. Il pittore deve aver usato queste litografie, che sono state riprodotte e distribuite in Europa durante il XIX secolo come modello. C'è anche un esempio al Palazzo Topkapı. Il litografia di Aramyan e Sourieu nella Suna e İnan Kıraç Foundation Collection è un altro esempio di questi.
